multiple sensor electronic control system
POLY is a multiple sensor electronic control system for LED luminaires. The electronic control module, only 18 mm thick, is connected between the power supply and the lamps (both 12Vdc and 24Vdc), and can host up to 3 sensors of the various models available: infra-red proximity sensors and pyrolytic presence sensors. The control module integrates a set-up button with which the function can be modified at any time – from back-of-door sensor to switch.

PIR-1 - motion sensor
Infra-red pyrolytic movement sensor wired with 2000 mm cord for recessed installation.
The PIR-1 sensors connected to the control module with a standard set-up activate the switching on and off of the luminaires in soft-on and soft-off mode (fade 2.5”) when the doors are opened and closed. When no movement occurs within the detection field, after approximately 180 seconds the luminaires switch off automatically, even when the door is open. The light switches ON when any one of the doors is opened, while to enable switch-off, all the doors must be closed.
IR-1 - back-door proximity sensor
Infra-red proximity sensor wired with 2000 mm cable for recessed or surface installation.
LIMIT SWITCH SET- UP
The IR-1 sensors connected to the control module with a standard set-up activate the switching ON and Off of the luminaires in soft-on and soft-off mode (fade 2.5”) when the doors are opened and closed. The control module features an automatic switch-off function, activated after 20 minutes of continuous functioning. Opening even only one of the doors to the units on the back of which a sensor has been installed, all the luminaires connected to POLY ECB switch on. They switch off when all the doors are closed.
The sensor can be installed recessed or on the surface with the support supplied as standard.
The set-up can be changed by simply pressing the button on the control module. By pressing the button once, the set-up with IR-1 sensor ON-Off and dimmer function is activated. By pressing the button again, the factory settings of the IR-1 (proximity) sensors and PIR-1 (motion) sensors are restored.

ON-OFF SET-UP
With the ON-Off and dimmer set-up, the luminaires connected to the control module are turned on and off and dimmed simply by moving your hand close to the sensor. A rapid movement immediately switches the light on or off (fade 1”), whereas the constant presence of the hand in front of the sensor enables the brightness to be adjusted. This configuration enables the luminaires to be switched ON and Off from different points.
