On 23 November 2022, in the Visconti Pavilion in Via Tortona 58, Milan, two different Domus Line products won the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award 2022. SYSTEMA was a winner in the Systems, Components and Materials category and IO in the Bathroom category.
Both these products are the result of the company’s collaboration with important designers and companies that has enabled it to give these luminaires new functions and distinctive styles.
SYSTEMA, designed by the architect Andrea Federici, is much more than a simple profile: it is a luminous furnishing system that transcends the traditional boundaries between luminaire and furnishing accessory, resulting in an interior lighting collection that combines functionality and creativity. SYSTEMA is composed of a single linear profile combined with two light sources, which can be applied to any surface. It can have many configurations, such as a shelf, for every space in the house, or it can be configured with a range of accessories designed specifically for the kitchen.
IO, the brainchild of designer Nunzia Ponsillo and made in collaboration with Damiano Latini, is an entirely-customisable, functional, elegant bathroom furnishing solution, ideal for the home and for the world of hospitality. The entire structure of IO is enhanced by a D-Motion lighting system that allows the selection of the colour temperature (2700 K or 4000 K) of all the light sources integrated in the mirror and the structure. An innovative attachment system for the horizontal profiles allows them to be fixed at the preferred height. The shelves and other accessories, on the other hand, are attached with no need for screws.
