Circular Economy by Domus Line
Domus Line is committed to integrating the principles of the circular economy throughout its entire process, with the goal of moving beyond the traditional “take–make–dispose” model. This approach guides our product design, manufacturing processes, and corporate culture, with a view to minimising our environmental impact and maximising the efficiency of our resources.

However, we believe in a practical approach, and have therefore made concrete choices to make this possible.
Our products are designed to have the smallest possible environmental footprint
We design luminaires made to last, ensuring a long average operational lifespan. This approach enables us to significantly reduce maintenance requirements and limit replacements, delivering a positive impact on both the environment and the economy.
Each product is developed in accordance with the principles of circularity: our luminaires are designed to be easily disassembled, and every component can be recycled at the end of its life.
Whenever possible, we use plastic components made from recycled polymers. All packaging cardboard is 100% recycled.
Compliance with European regulations
We operate in full compliance with European legislation, adhering to the EU regulations on ecodesign (ESPR) and the proper management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), reaffirming our commitment to high standards of environmental responsibility.
Process optimisation
Our processes are subject to continuous optimisation. Through advanced production and logistics planning, and the use of automated warehouses, we reduce waste, optimise space, and minimise the risk of errors.
Reduced energy impact
Most of our energy needs are met by photovoltaic systems, with the remainder from certified renewable energy sources. The use of LED lighting and high-efficiency systems further reduce our overall consumption.
Elimination of single-use plastics
Finally, we have eliminated the use of single-use plastics within the company. We provide employees with stainless steel water bottles, only use recycled paper cups, and offer water dispensers for refills and hot beverages.
A series of concrete measures implemented to achieve goals such as responsible design, efficient operations, and a genuine culture of circularity.
