EcoVadis rating achieved: another step forward in the field of sustainability management
Last October, we made a major leap forward in our sustainability journey when we were first evaluated by EcoVadis. This result marks the initial phase of our strategy to implement a structured process of measurement and continuous improvement. This will give us greater insight when assessing our ESG performance and strengthen our commitment to responsible management practices.
We have achieved an EcoVadis rating of 54 out of 100, which now puts us in the 42th percentile of all companies assessed globally. This result indicates that our performance is comparable to, or superior to, that of 42% of the analysed organisations.
Thanks to this score, we were awarded the ‘Committed’ badge, which recognises companies that exceed the minimum threshold of 45 points and demonstrate their dedication to implementing a well-structured sustainability management system – which is exactly what we set out to achieve in 2024.

Please note that the EcoVadis scorecard only provides an overview of the situation in the year prior to the assessment. In 2024, our main focus was on planning and defining the initiatives that are crucial for enhancing our ESG performance. Thanks to the activities we have implemented this year, such as calculating the Carbon Footprint (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and conducting a product life cycle assessment (LCA), we expect the score to improve in the next rating (for 2025).
We have set ourselves a clear goal for the next few years: to improve this score by strengthening and continuing our sustainability journey.
The overall rating score is calculated by taking the weighted average of the results achieved across the four main topics: Environment, Labour Practices and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. All of these topics arise from the weighted scores of the seven management indicators on which the EcoVadis methodology is based.

The applied methodology is based on 21 sustainability criteria.

Why did we choose the EcoVadis rating?
We chose EcoVadis in order to adopt a more structured, measurable approach to our sustainability journey. The rating enables a more accurate assessment of environmental, social and ethical performance, while providing customers with an internationally recognised standard.
To achieve this, we must operate with greater transparency, meet the demands of ESG-conscious partners and markets, improve the efficiency and sustainability of our LED systems, and prepare for upcoming EU regulatory developments.
Additionally, this journey allows us to establish trusting relationships throughout the supply chain and provides easier access to projects that are designed with sustainability in mind. Within our company, it provides an opportunity to develop a more mindful culture that prioritises safety, wellbeing and personal development.
The EcoVadis assessment methodology is founded on a series of principles that ensure a comprehensive and reliable evaluation of a company’s sustainability management system.
The process is based on solid evidence: every statement must be backed up by detailed documentation, including policies, certifications and performance data. The assessment also considers various factors, such as relevance to the business sector, the company’s geographical context and its size, thereby adapting the analysis to its risks and specific characteristics.
