Corporate welfare: Domus Line promotes free breast cancer screening

7 April 2026
Prevention at work. This was the aim of the initiative staged on 18 April at Domus Line Srl in Porcia, a company specialising in the design and production of lighting systems for the furniture industry, which organised a corporate welfare programme to promote women’s health among its employees.

The initiative, dedicated to the women in the company, offered free breast cancer screening examinations. A practical service delivered directly on site, designed to improve access to early diagnosis and raise awareness of the importance of prevention.

From an operational perspective, the screenings were carried out in a mobile clinic stationed in front of the company premises. The unit featured two examination rooms and a staffed reception area, ensuring smooth patient flow, quick registration, and efficient delivery of the results, in line with the scheduled time slots and high-quality standards.

“In a company like ours, where women make up the majority of the workforce,” explained HR Manager Daniela Tranchi, “we believe it is essential to foster a workplace that supports our employees’ wellbeing. This initiative allows us to take another step forward: bringing prevention directly into the workplace and offering employees a simple, free opportunity to prioritise their health”.

This is the first year Domus Line has introduced this type of screening programme, but the response has been very positive, with more than 50 employees participating. The initiative is part of a broader corporate wellbeing strategy that Domus Line, long committed to employee welfare, plans to further strengthen in the future. “Building a work environment that responds to people’s real needs,” Tranchi concludes, “is the foundation of a healthy and sustainable company over time.” The initiative sends an important message from the local community, where corporate welfare is increasingly proving to be a concrete tool for promoting health, awareness, and quality of life.

Beyond placing people at the centre, this approach is also a strategic choice: investing in employees’ overall wellbeing helps foster a positive workplace climate, strengthen a sense of belonging, and over time contribute to greater continuity, efficiency, and quality of work.
