We are continuously committed to improving our environmental impact across all areas of company life: from producing energy from renewable sources and using raw materials derived from recovered and recycled waste, to optimised waste management.

Solar energy is a central aspect of our sustainability strategy. With the installation of photovoltaic systems at our plants, we have significantly reduced the consumption of energy produced from fossil sources.

Thanks to the installation of an additional new system during 2025, and the purchase of energy from certified renewable sources, we are moving toward the achievement of one of our future goals: zero emissions for Scope 2 of our carbon footprint.

For the collection of production waste, particularly paper, cardboard, and plastics, we have equipped ourselves with compactors, which not only significantly reduce the volume but also limit transportation to recycling and collection centres.

Our product assembly process does not require water consumption, does not generate atmospheric emissions, and has minimal noise pollution.

For packaging, we use plastic components with at least 30% recycled material, and 100% recycled paper and cardboard.

With a particular focus on safety and well-being, the company’s social policies aim to create a positive and satisfying work environment for one and all.

Domus Line adheres to and respects the principles of the ETI code of ethics, promoted by Ethical Trading Initiative, an alliance of businesses, trade unions and NGOs that promote respect for workers’ rights worldwide. The application of these standards is not limited to the group’s companies, but the commitment extends to ensuring that these rules are also respected by the entire supply chain.

Domus Line adopts an inclusive approach focused on valuing people, promoting a balanced and respectful working environment. Over 50% of employees are women, and more than 25% of the workforce is under the age of 35. These figures reflect the company’s commitment to equal opportunities and to supporting the professional development of younger generations, contributing to the creation of a collaborative work environment that prioritizes individual well-being.

We are actively committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. The reorganisation of our internal logistics has reduced the use of forklifts and made material handling safer. To reduce noise pollution, our mechanical workstations have been relocated to a plant with a dedicated layout. Ongoing training and preventive actions, along with a strong culture of safety in the workplace, are evident in the very low incidence of work-related injuries.

The Domus Line group, adopts a governance founded on the achievement of concrete, relevant, and measurable results, implementing a holistic view of its processes that considers not only economic aspects but also environmental and social ones.

To ensure business continuity and create long-term value, a solid economic performance is essential. This enables investments to be made in innovation, service development, and human resources, ensuring growth and competitiveness. Therefore, Domus Line places economic resilience at the foundation of its sustainability strategy.

As part of our integrated quality, environmental, and safety management system, we regularly carry out audits and reviews aimed at assessing the effectiveness of processes, the adequacy of procedures, and the analysis of key indicators. This allows us to promptly identify and correct inefficiencies and non-conformities. It is also essential for maintaining and renewing our ISO certification.

Through a clear company policy and in accordance with the specific provisions of Model 231 for organisation, management, and control, we ensure that the leadership and management operate in accordance with the highest standards of ethics, transparency, compliance, and sustainability, subjecting the entire organisation to periodic audits.

To better evaluate the actions taken, the company has also established an ESG Committee, which meets periodically. Its evaluations enable the adoption of corrective actions in response to any identified issues, but more importantly, it develops strategies for continuous improvement.

CARBON FOOTPRINT 2025

The main results of the 2025 Carbon Footprint

TOTAL CFP: 126,916.2 tCO₂e

Our overall carbon footprint is in line with industry benchmarks, with most emissions linked to product life cycles (Scope 3).

Scope 1 – Emissions from company operations

Direct emissions amount to 99.25 tCO₂e, only 0.1% of the total, thanks to modern systems and procedures that reduce the impact of our company processes.

Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from the production of energy purchased by the company

Indirect emissions from energy are close to zero. 0.07 tCO₂e (0.0%). This result is possible because we cover most of our needs with our own photovoltaic systems, supplementing the remainder with certified renewable energy.

Scope 3 – Other emissions across the value chain

At 126,816.88 tCO₂e, it accounts for about 99.9% of our total footprint.
Within this category, the main contributors are:

  • use of products sold: 68,8%
  • purchase of goods and services: 30,6%

The other components (investments, product end-of-life, leased goods, business travel, etc.) account for less than 1%.

2025 is the first year we have calculated our CFP, so we do not yet have comparative data; starting in 2026, we will be able to compare the results over time and monitor the evolution of our environmental performance.
